1Sa 14:50  And the name of Saul's wife was Ahinoam, the daughter of Ahimaaz: and the name of the captain of his host was AbnerH74, the son of Ner, Saul's uncle. ^▼

1Sa 14:51  And Kish was the father of Saul; and Ner the father of AbnerH74 was the son of Abiel.

1Sa 17:55  ¶ And when Saul saw David go forth against the Philistine, he said unto AbnerH74, the captain of the host, AbnerH74, whose son is this youth? And AbnerH74 said, As thy soul liveth, O king, I cannot tell.

1Sa 17:57  And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, AbnerH74 took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.

2Sa 2:19  And Asahel pursued after AbnerH74; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following AbnerH74. ^▼

2Sa 2:20  Then AbnerH74 looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

2Sa 2:21  And AbnerH74 said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him. ^▼

2Sa 2:22  And AbnerH74 said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

2Sa 2:23  Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore AbnerH74 with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

2Sa 2:24  Joab also and Abishai pursued after AbnerH74: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

2Sa 2:25  ¶ And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after AbnerH74, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

2Sa 2:26  Then AbnerH74 called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

2Sa 2:29  And AbnerH74 and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

2Sa 2:30  And Joab returned from following AbnerH74: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.

2Sa 2:31  But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner'sH74 men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

2Sa 3:6  ¶ And it came to pass, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that AbnerH74 made himself strong for the house of Saul.

2Sa 3:7  And Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and Ish-bosheth said to AbnerH74, Wherefore hast thou gone in unto my father's concubine?

2Sa 3:8  Then was AbnerH74 very wroth for the words of Ish-bosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?

2Sa 3:9  So do God to AbnerH74, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;

2Sa 3:11  And he could not answer AbnerH74 a word again, because he feared him.

2Sa 3:12  ¶ And AbnerH74 sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying also, Make thy league with me, and, behold, my hand shall be with thee, to bring about all Israel unto thee.

2Sa 3:16  And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim. Then said AbnerH74 unto him, Go, return. And he returned. ^▼

2Sa 3:17  ¶ And AbnerH74 had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David in times past to be king over you: ^▼

2Sa 3:19  And AbnerH74 also spake in the ears of Benjamin: and AbnerH74 went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.

2Sa 3:20  So AbnerH74 came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made AbnerH74 and the men that were with him a feast.
